Features 1) Bigco provides you with a single entry point (or gateway) to the Internet. It has a master index of links to over 400 websites, easily accessible within categories listed A-Z.
Users can register and then login. Registered users can:
2) create one or more additional master indexes of their own (for example containing links to websites to sites about their areas of interest). Links in an index can refer to further indexes enabling a hierachy to be created, if required.
3) create their own address book and telephone directory (easily categorised into friends, business/work and personal [eg plumber, etc]) including a map for each address(based on the postcode using Streetmap and Multimap) 5) access their telephone directory from a mobile phone by accessing www.bigco.com/mblst.php?e=[login email]&p=[password] 5) print mailing labels (on Avery L7160 or equivalent) for their address book eg for Christmas cards 6) use a simple diary in which text can be entered against dates on a single line. 7) login from their favourites (on a secure PC) To login automatically, use www.bigco.com/index.php?email=[your_email_address]&passwd=[your_login_password] This can be put in your favourites. You may like to have two entries (preferably at the top) in your favourites - www.bigco.com (to take you to the default master page) and www.bigco.com/index.php?email=[your_email_address]&passwd=[your_login_password] (to take you to your own personal index page, diary and address book).
You can also use a shorter version in the format:
www.bigco.com/index.php?e=[your_email_address]&p=[your_login_password]

New Features

Bigco 2 contains the following features: 1) an index of quality sites for general use, such as news, weather, financial information, etc 2) an address book that includes a map showing where the person lives, and printable labels, 3) a diary, 4) the ability for users to register to use the site. This enables the user to have his or her own main index, address book and diary, and 5) the ability for further indexes to be embedded in pages to any level
